Keto diet : Expensive and hard to follow ?!



    Many have said that Keto diet is expensive and hard to follow, pero ito lang ang masasabi ko.. Keto diet need not be expensive ! and this diet is as easy as pie.

Keto diet is hard to follow !?

This diet is easy, just follow the Ketogenic Food Pyramid and your good to go.

    If your going keto just for shedding your extra pounds and improving your health, then you can never find anything like this ! Easy, no starving, no hunger  just eat as you feel satisfied. No caloric restrictions to take, No hard to follow and punishing exercises to do. Do your ordinary routine exercises and even while sleeping you are losing your body fats.
Just follow the Keto Food Pyramid.


Restrict your carbohydrates intakes to just 5% ! No rice or any food na gamit ay bigas tulad ng biko, suman, at mga katulad nito. Unli-rice is now thing of the past. Bawal na bawal ding kumain ng tinapay, sopas, spaghetti, pansit o anumang pagkain na ginamitan ng arina. Bawal din ang pagkain ng mais and most of all sugars and all sugary products like softdrinks, fruit juices, mango graham na usong uso ngayong summer at marami pang katulad nito. Tandaan : ang carbohydrates ay nagiging asukal pagpasok sa katawan ng tao !

Ang 5% na carbohydrates intake mo ay manggagaling sa mga low carb vegetables ! not on fruits because kasi most fruits contain high amount of sugars... at ang sugar is a big no no to keto diet.

Kung athlete ka o sport active ka, you can adjust your protein to 30% pero kung di naman just stick to the 25%. Your main food source will now comes from fats. Don't be afraid of fats. Fats are macronutrients needed by our body.

Keto diet is expensive !?

Coco MCT ? Caulirice ? Coco aminos ? Flaxseeds ? Sunflower seeds at marami pang iba...

Kailangan ba natin ang mga expensive na mga pagkain na ito para sa ating Ketogenic diet ???
Definitely NO !!!

Kung may pera ka go !
Pero para sa mga ordinaryo pinoy na butas ang bulsa katulad ko, di na uy !

So, ano ang ating pwedeng kainin ?!

Well, ano ano ba ang madalas sa ating hapag kainan at ano ano ba karaniwan laman ng ating ref ? Kung may ref kayo, hehehe, kami meron.

Itlog ! Very versatile food pwede sa almusal,tanghalian o hapunan ! Dito palang napakaraming keto friendly recipes kang magagawa. High in proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals ! Only 0.7g of carbohydrates.



Karne - baboy, manok o baka...  Isda ! (specially oil rich like salmon)

Gulay ! Go for low carb veggies, iwasan ang mga high carb veggies mostly yung tumutubo sa ilalim ng lupa.

  Green leafy vegetables katulad ng pechay, pechay baguio, cabbage, mustasa, dahon ng malunggay, alugbati at marami pang iba.
   Ampalaya, sitaw, patani(kidney beans), upo at marami pang iba.

Kung wala dito ang paborito nyong gulay just do some research using google. Just type your fav veggies then add nutrition and go !

Ano ano pa ba ang mga additional na kailangan at tandaan ?

Butter - very useful. Daming gamit. Pampa-yummy ng anumang lutuin. Also for your fats   requirement.
Coconut and olive virgin oil - for your additional fats requirement
Use Coconut oil for frying and cooking and avoid using cheap vegetable oils!
